Addressing the Council

How you can ADDRESS THE COUNCIL
Meetings are normally held on a Monday evening in the Pavilion, Keedwell Hill (behind the Village Hall) starting at 7.30pm. You are welcome to come and listen to our discussions. If you are a parishioner and have an issue that you would like to bring before the Council, then you have the right to make a statement to the Council on any subject. You must first write to the Parish Clerk at least a week (ie 5 working days) before the Council meeting telling her of your intention and the subject. Your statement must take no longer than 3 minutes and it will not be discussed immediately. It has been a useful way for residents to alert Councillors to aspects of an issue not previously considered. Because of pressure on our agenda, we can only allocate 15 minutes max to this, so if more than 5 residents want to speak, this is on a 'first come' basis.

Of course, if you don't want to come to a meeting, you can contact any Parish Councillor to discuss an issue. For Councillors contact details CLICK HERE.
