Cllr Carl Tarsey's Register of Interests.
About Carl:
I have lived in Long Ashton with my family for 11 years. I became a councillor because I genuinely care about our village and believe I can be a compelling voice for the community. Long Ashton has a great community spirit, and I believe that as the village continues to grow, there is tremendous potential to build on this solid foundation.
I am interested in all the council's principal functions, although I do have a particular interest in - Biodiversity, Community Engagement, and Services for Children and Young People.
As a father of an 11-year-old girl, I feel partially passionate about investing in the future of the young people in our village. I believe we must build trust and confidence with our local youth to help empower them for the future. In my spare time, I enjoy learning bushcraft skills with my daughter, family walks with our dog Hugo and photography.
I want the Long Community to know that I am here as a voice for them, and if anyone has any ideas or suggestions in my areas of interest, please feel free to contact me.
