About Ruth:
Ruth has lived in Long Ashton since 2007 with her husband and two sons. She is keen to contribute her time and energy to the community because her family have benefitted hugely from the local services, events and welcoming spirit of the village.
You may know Ruth from her previous role as Long Ashton's Lampshade Lady, from her recent year out of village life when she and her family travelled around the world, from her daily trips to the village shops with her trusty trolley, or as the organiser of Long Ashton Disco Nights.
Ruth is a qualified social media manager and improving the Council's communication and engagement with residents is her thing! She encourages anyone to get in touch with her if they have something to share with the community.
