The Parish Council extends a very warm welcome to anyone who would like to apply to become a Councillor. We are looking for all sorts of people, all shapes and sizes, bringing all kinds of skills. We are seeking to involve anyone interested in improving local lives. We are particularly keen to increase diversity on the Council and to embrace a range of different knowledge and experience.

Councillor co-option policy

This policy sets out the procedure to ensure there is compliance with legislation and continuity of procedures in the co-option of members to Long Ashton Parish Council.
